We all know life is short, its hurtling by and you need to live it, love it and savour it. This becomes all the more real when you have children.
You spend 9 precious months growing this beautiful being and dreaming of their future. When you bring that life into the world, time seems to stand still for just a moment, a chance to and you catch your breath. Then it takes off at breakneck speed, a whirlwind of milestones, giggles, kisses on the nose and cuddles in the night. Soon your little one is walking, then running and you’re in a flurry of panic as he climbs and inevitably falls, but it’s ok because mummy’s kisses always make it better.
It’s not long before the little ones become big ones and outgrow your lap, but they never outgrow your heart.
In the brilliant flash that is life, we hope for the future, live for today and forever cherish the moments time stood still…
Time stood still on 00:16am on the 01/01/10 with birth of my daughter, and again on 05:11pm on the 07/01/15 with the birth of my son.
