Hello lovelies, life can be tough, it throws you into difficult situations and hands you problems you don’t think you can solve. But so far, you’ve made it, you’re hanging in there, surviving, go you! It’s this attitude you need to hold onto and using a few simple exercises you can bring more positivity into every day. With all the hatred in the world,make a change,however small, it starts with you! 

Bless this day: Take a few moments when you wake to appreciate being here,present in the world and think of a few ways you can make today positive.

Royal family and friends: Make those around you feel special, show them they are appreciated. Put a silly note or drawing in your kids lunchbox, invite a friend round and surprise them with a yummy treat.

Joy is infectious: Spread happiness to strangers. Smile and be pleasant to everyone your path crosses, sometimes all it takes to brighten someone’s day is a friendly smile and a hello. You might even make a new friend! 

Greatness in small Glories: Appreciate the little things, laugh hard with your partner, dance wildly with your children, be silly, be a joy.

Breathe deep: Take time throughout your day to stop, sit and breathe. Really breathe. In and out, deeply and slowly. Ground yourself. 

Appreciate Nature: Buy a beautiful bunch of flowers, sit by a stream, take your kids to feed the ducks or simply watch a spider spin a web. See the beauty in all that’s around you. 

Defeat Negativity: If there is negativity in your life, change it. Don’t wait for someone else to do it for you, it’s your life, be present and take control. Declutter your home and your life, don’t waste time with people who drag you down. 

Ruler of your own destiny: Take time for you, treat yourself like the queen you are and pamper yourself. So you are positive and pleasant to be around you need to feel valued, who better to take care of you, than You! Soak in a hot bubble bath, get your nails done, buy that lipstick! 

Feel the love: Touch is a powerful mood booster and healer. It signals to our brain to relax, we are safe and loved. Hug your family, kiss your partner, hold hands and surround yourself with love and positive energy. 

As the wonderful Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world”: Volunteer for a local charity, get the children involved and set an example, collect food donations for a local homeless shelter, sponsor a child in a developing country. 

The world is a beautiful, wondrous place, let’s fill it with truly beautiful souls and gentle hearts. One smile at a time. and Stay Yummy xxx
